Position Overview:

To contribute and assist in the attainment of the company’s growth goals by finding and closing new managed services and IT project clients per quarter  and generating your specifc quota amount per quarter in new MRR.

Top 2 Results:

  • To follow and help improve the company’s sales playbook process to maximize sales closed, keep profit margins high, overcome objections and ensure quota is met every single month without fail.
     
  • To organize and track all inbound leads and opportunities and appropriately follow up so every lead is quickly and aggressively followed up on.

Other Tactical Work and Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning and implementation of strategic prospecting campaigns to find new, qualified prospects.
  • Schedule and conduct sales meetings with new prospects for the purpose of closing them on our managed IT services, phone systems and other products and services we offer.
  • Prepare and send pre-meeting materials to all new prospects prior to the first meeting.
  • Research, prepare and accurately price new proposals so that our minimum of gross margin is ensured and the client’s needs are met.
  • Create a sales plan, working backward from quota, to meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Document all conversations, meetings and proposals in the company’s CRM.
  • Assist in the collection of money (initially).
  • Ensure all paperwork and contracts are completed accurately and filed properly.
  • Assist the technical team in onboarding the client via a hand-off meeting.
  • Ask all new clients for at least one referral.
  • Monitor the company’s competitors for the purpose of gathering market intelligence and providing input on areas where the company needs to improve to be more competitive.
  • Provide a weekly sales pipeline report to the CEO of new prospects (leads) reached, new initial appointments sat, new proposals generated, the dollar amount generated, estimated close date and probability of the deal closing.
  • Meticulously follow the company’s sales playbook and assist in finding ways to improve its overall effectiveness.
  • Assist in working trade shows, events and webinars for the purpose of finding new clients and opportunities.
  • Actively participate in weekly sales, productivity and leadership training.

Skills Required:

  • Deep understanding of the company’s target market, USP and products.
  • Excellent negotiation and sales skills.
  • Deep understanding of our sales process and playbook.
  • Current knowledge of competitors’ strengths and weaknesses.
  • Excellent organizational, time management and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to assess a technical problem and quote an appropriate solution.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Advanced skills with Word, Outlook, Publisher and Excel.
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively via e-mails and in person.
